Editorial de la tercera edición de Latam Plagas

January 2018 passes and we add the third issue of our magazine LATAMPLAGAS. As we have mentioned previously, it is our intention for the magazine to permanently evolve towards an element of technical, scientific and commercial dissemination, where those actors who are linked to the industry of professional management of urban pests and disease vectors can find support and entertainment simultaneously.

In this issue we incorporate new sections. In the first instance, Beyond Latin America, a space where you can find relevant news, academic training curricula in pest and vector management, innovation and development of new strategies, trends and legislation from other continents. We also added a space for recommendations, Latamplagas recommends, where our team brings you literature and websites where you can obtain information about the industry.

Given its regional scope, the presentation of equipment and supplies made by manufacturers and/or distributors will allow subscribers to know what is used in the region to carry out the activity. In this way, the increase in the flow of information will enrich activity throughout Latin America.

In the section Academic training There are tertiary or university training programs, diplomas, master's degrees and doctorates specialized in pest management, insect vectors, sanitation, legislation and food safety worldwide.

Lastly, our Event calendar It will allow you to learn about the different technical-commercial meetings that are organized around the world and thus schedule your participation in advance. If you are part of any organization or entity that carries out activities and want them to be incorporated in subsequent issues, we invite you to contact us at the emails listed on the back cover of the magazine.

At LATAMPLAGAS we are proud of the product we have achieved, working as a team and enriching ourselves from the suggestions and constructive criticism of our readers and collaborators. We constantly seek improvement and relevant contributions that favor the exercise of our activity with a higher level of professionalism.

Service-providing companies, today auxiliary in matters of public health, and government agencies, must see in the magazine a means to express themselves, disseminate and compile good actions that allow the sustained evolution of the activity over time.
