Finally I arrive. LATAMPLAGAS celebrates its first year of existence. In this number six, our magazine seeks to sustain the contribution of products, techniques and innovative information. Global pest management trends strongly point to prevention, and not “curative” actions. Maintaining environments in optimal conditions of order, cleanliness and structural tightness are the main objective of any professional dedicated to pest control.
Without a doubt, it is important to know the full spectrum of products and equipment designed to minimize the density of pest populations, once they have established themselves somewhere. Despite this, companies must tenaciously seek perfection in the management of environments, thus avoiding the access and proliferation of pests.
By achieving this, it will be simpler to adopt the figure of “strategic partner” towards whoever requires the service, and not the company that applies poisons when there are problems with unwanted organisms. This simple, but sometimes unknown truth, is the main concern of any internal or external auditor who examines the levels of environmental health in food production, gastronomy, etc. sites.
At LATAMPLAGAS we have assumed the role of disseminators of global and innovative information, although precise and specific to the industry dedicated to the professional management of pest species and disease vectors. Innovative equipment, accompanied by new strategies, are occupying relevant spaces in the planning and implementation of comprehensive IPM programs. Our main objective is to bring this information closer and facilitate each reader, seeking to contribute to the individual and collective professionalism of service companies.
